Do It dashboard for the Happy Planner

Hey guys!

I know I have been away for a bit, my whole family was super sick and then I decided to join them. I have been out of bed for 2 days only and am starting to feel like a person. The first thing I did when I got up was sit at the craft table. I have had plenty of time to think of things I want to make. Anywho... Let's get down to my project!!!

I got out all my items that I wanted and literally sat for about 15 minutes thinking how I was going to make my Dashboard. I knew I wanted to make one but I didn't want it to be like everyone else's. I took things that I need/want to do everyday and added them to my list.

I chose the fonts I wanted to use and that I wanted a coffee theme and starting making light pencil marks on my watercolor paper. I made marks from the top and where I wanted my header to go and then made lines where I wanted my boxes and tasks to go. From there I started stamping my little hearts desire and I bring you to my Dashboard before the color...

I love how it turned out!! Since I did it on Watercolor paper I knew I wanted too use my watercolor palette. I have only ever used once before. I grabbed a cup of water and my water brush and got to work.

This is my finished project and I am in love with it!! I am going to go have it laminated and then I will be able to use it week after week. I will be punching it to fit into my happy planner.

All of the stamps that I used for this project can be found at www.sweetstampshop.com

This is a list of the sets used:

Lawn Fawn I Love You Card

Hello All......

It has been some years since I have posted anything on here. My babies are 3 and 4 now and letting me craft more. I am very excited to get back into making cards and paper crafts. It has been way too long. Since I had my first son in January 2012 I have been Crocheting tons and then had a second son in April 2013. It has been a wild ride but I would not change it for anything. I just love it. Ok, so enough about that... Lets talk a little bit about my card that I made, 1st card out of the gates and I am so proud of it.

I have to tell you that I just discovered all these new supplies in card making and I am in Love. I LOVE Lawn Fawn Stamps!!! They are my absolute favorite. Then I have my Sweet Stamp Shop stamps that I am loving using in my planner and just recently started making cards with them. Im very new to Spectrum Noir Markers and I think they are great! I decided I wanted to make my Husband a Valentines Card this year since it has been so long.

I went ahead and entered this card into the Lawnscaping Challenge #123 :)

So I made an A2 sized card with the Sweet Smiles Stamp and Die set from Lawn Fawn. I decided the whole thing needed to be pink, red and white. It turned out a lot better than I expected.

I also used the Milo's ABC's set from Lawn Fawn for the I Love You Sentiment.

I am so glad to be back at the crafting table again and I will be posting a lot more :) Please let me know if there is anything you would like to see and I would love to show you.

Thanks for stopping by... Come back real soon!

First Airplane Ride

Hello Everyone!!!

Me and my son just got back home and settled from taking a little trip to see my Grandma up in Spokane! It was so much fun and needed to get away for a little bit. She crafts just like me and I was actually able to get 2 layouts and 3 cards finished while I was there. I am very excited about that!! I will be sharing them with you over the next few days!!

Today I am going to start with the first Layout that I finished was. It is for my Sons first Airplane Ride. He did such an amazing job on the flight there and back. I was so impressed. There were people on the flight that didn't even know there was a baby on. It was great! I just got some pictures developed yesterday, So I will be starting to catch up on cards and Layouts.

I used my gypsy to size and put everything together. It turned out great. And of course while I was there JoAnn's was having a great paper sale and so we were able to go there and get what I needed for this Layout :)

I am going to be starting a Wedding Album here very soon. I am working on designing it with my Gypsy. I won't be able to post the pages until the whole thing is done. I am making it for my mom who is getting married July 15th. I will post the whole thing when it is done. :)

Thank You Card and Grandma's Visit

This weekend was a CRAZY one!!! LOL!! It was so much fun though. My grandma surprised everybody and drove down here from Spokane on Thursday. I was so excited when she got here! I have not seen her in 6 months. It is hard, she is my best friend! I love her so much!! She supports me in whatever I do and means the world to me.

I made her and her boyfriend breakfast on Friday and then we went to Craft Warehouse and then got together with the whole family on Friday night for dinner. We went our to breakfast on Saturday and then hung out at my house and made cards for the day then went to Burgerville for dinner. I had so much fun with them. I will be going up to visit them soon (hopefully)!!! I am going to show you some things I made this weekend...

This is a Calendar that we made, It is all on a magnets and on a piece of tin. I have had all the pieces to make this for a while. I just hadn't gotten around to it.

While going shopping at Craft Warehouse and Michaels, Grandma got a Cricut Expression from her boyfriend and she bought all of my stuff also. So I made her this card...

This is a 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 card
She bought me the background stamp and I colored it with my BIC permanent markers. The tag is cut from Twinkle Toes and the ribbon is light yellow and from the Dollar Tree. The sentiment is from Sweet Cheeks Stamps by ME using Spring in Bloom.

Thanks for visiting today!!! Come back on Wednesday and I am a guest designer!! Cant wait to share with you!!

Celebrate Cupcake

Here is a card I just made for My Pink Stampers Birthday Challenge. It was so fun!!! I had made something similar before but I did a few things different and love the way it turned out.

This is a solid pink card, I used Prima flowers with White Brads and the Cupcake and Sentiment were a pack together that I got in the dollar bins at Craft Warehouse. The blue paper was some from the dollar tree. I cut out the Cupcake and put it on a pop-dot.
