Winner!!!! Of National Scrapbook Day Challenge!!!

SOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!!!
So, I came how from not a very good day at work and checked my email like I always do... I was so beyond excited to see that I had an email from Robyn of My Pink Stamper!!! 

The email tells me that I was the Winner of Challenge #7!! This challenge was to make a Scrapbook Page (Im trying to play catch up). I won 2 DCWV paper stacks!!! I am so beyond excited!! I won the Green Tea and Cotton Bloom Stacks!! WOO HOO!!!!!! I can hardly contain myself, that made my day so much better than it was!!

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #12

This is the last Challenge of the day!! I hope all of you have had as much fun as me... I have loved today!! My hubby has been at work so it has just been me and my puppy and Cricut all day long!

Challenge #12 - Make a Scrapbook Page, Card, or other with a Kid's Theme!

I had a hard time deciding what I was going to make. I was about to do a Layout but then I thought that I do not have any kids so I thought a birthday card would be better. 


Recipe:
4 1/4 x 5 1/2 Card
4 1/8 x 5 3/8 Blue Mat
4 x 5 1/4 Pattern Mat
1 1/2 x 4 Strip
Elmo cut @ 3 1/2 using Sesame Street Friends
White Grossgrain ribbon
Stamp from Dollar Bins

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #11

We are almost finished with all the Challenges =(!! I have been having so much fun! I have actually done every one, what a way to catch up... I love it!!

Challenge #11 - Make a project and use Pink, Green and Black!!

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #10

Challenge #10- Make a Layout or Card with a Pet in it

I was excited for this one since I have a puppy and have the cutest photos of her.


I used Nana's Nursery Baby Girl Stack from DCWV for the background and accent. The title was cut using Don Juan @ 1.25". The Dog and Dog Bed were cut @ 2.75" using Everyday Paper Dolls. Strip is cut at 3". I used my White Sakura Jelly Roll to accent.

Challenge #9 over at My Pink Stamper is to Use Glitz, Glam and Glitter in your Project!

I got this fantastic paper from Michaels not too long ago and I thought this would be the best project for it!!

There are 3 more Challenges left... I am starting to get worn out. LOL!!! I told myself I was going to do every Challenge in the alloted 1 hour time frame and so far I have made each one. Some by just a few minutes. LOL! I am having so much fun with this!!

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #6

So, I use tags all the time on my projects, but now that it's for Challenge #6 I was drawing a blank. LOL! 

Challenge #6-Incorporate a tag on your project!


I used Once Upon A Princess for everything on this Layout. It is an 8 x 8 all using my Scraps. The Photo mat is for a 4 x 4 photo. I used my Sakura Jelly Roll Pen to Doodle around the Brown piece. The Tag was cut @ 3" and the ring was cut @ 3 1/2". The sentiment is Embossed with Midnight Black embossing powder and used a Black Sharpie Pen to doodle around the tag.

This Challenge was most definitely a Challenge for me in the time frame =) Make sure you go enter the Challenge at My Pink Stamper!!
Challenge #5 - Any 3-D item or if that too much Challenge then add a 3-D item to a Scrapbook page or Card. 



I saw something like this from someone else (Im sorry I cannot remember where) I had all the pieces here at home already and thought this would be the perfect opportunity to make it. 

There is Tulle inside the pot to look like green grass, and then cut out multiple sizes of Flowers from Plantin Schoolbook and used Toothpicks with little things on the end for the Stems.

I had already made my mom her card so I'm not sure what I am going to do with this new one, but I sure do like it!! I have seen this cut a lot and thought I would have to do something with it.

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #2

Im back!!!!
I had a lot of fun with this second challenge. I feel like I am liking my cards a little more when I am getting them done faster. 

Challenge #2-Make a Card or Scrapbook Page using Kraft Cardstock

I don't normally make Father's Cards (Its a sore subject sometimes), but I really enjoyed this. The challenge was first make a card for dad using Kraft cardstock so that is what I did but then when I refreshed the page it just said a card or Scrapbook page. Oh Well! Still used Kraft!! =)

MPS National Scrapbook Day Challenge #1

I have never made one of those background stamps from a smaller one and I am here to say it is so easy!! I love the way it turned out!
