Card Collab with Thanh from Make it Sweet and Neat

Hey guys!!

I have been so busy that I haven't been working on cards and crafts :( it's been really sad. I had the idea to do a challenge with one of my friends so we could make time to make something beautiful and use items that we don't use often.

I challenged her to use a stamp set from Lawn Fawn called Toboggen Together. It is an adorable stamp set and one I have not used.

We will jump right into the project I made for today :)

I made an adorable little card. I am so far behind on my Christmas cards that I figured this would be the perfect opportunity. I stamped my images on some solar white card stock and I use my awesome Zig Clean Color Real brush markers. If you have not tried these markers you really should!! They are water based and so easy to work with and blend.

I would love for you to go over to Thanh's blog or Instagram and aee what she has made with this stamp set, you will not be disappointed!!!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Happy Birthday with Technique Tuesday

Hey Guys, Ashley here!!

I have been having a rough couple of weeks with some family things. I am so excited to be putting up a new post and a new project!! Some of you may know that I am now on the Design Team for Technique Tuesday... It is so exciting!!!! Have you seen all of their cool dies and Stamps? If not, you need to go check it out HERE

Today for my card I wanted to make something different and you can never have too many Birthday Cards. I used a stamp set called Beary Sweet and then a brand new set called Bravo. I am loving how versatile everything is. If you'd like to get them click on the names above and it will take you over to the site :)

Here is a look at the front of my card...

I used a 4" square card for this and it came out so cute. Using the Beary Sweet set I stamped the Balloons and then made some masks so that I could make a bouquet of Balloons. I then used my Spectrum Noir markers to color them.

This is the inside where you can insert a gift card for that special someone after folding the card and making a slit with an exact knife.

Thank you for stopping by today. I will be back to share some new exciting things Ive made this week.

Technique Tuesday with Sympathy Card

So I made this card last week for my grandma before my grandpas funeral. It was a hard card to make but meant so much to the both of us. This stamp set is from Technique Tuesday and can be found at this link http://www.techniquetuesday.com/product/GSBlu.html
They also have matching dies if you are interested.

I used the stitched ovals and rectangles from Lawn Fawn for the cut outs and distress inks to watercolor with. I have never made a card like this but is something I will be tryin again and again.

If you have any questions or comments please leave them below and I will get back to you! Stay tuned there will be another project later this week. You will love it!

Happy Planner Mess up

Hey guys I'm back!! I was trying to be productive and decorate the monthly spread in my Happy Planner... Oh man! Let me tell you, I goofed so bad! It looked awful.

Look at how bad I smeared everything. I stamp all the time and have no idea why all the sudden On this layout I messed up so bad. Then I was trying to figure out ways to fix it. I remember that I had some Avery sticker sheets so I went ahead and measured all those monthly boxes and cut sticker sheets to cover everything.

I took some time to decide what I wanted to do with the spread, I decided that I wanted it simple but functional. So I started re stamping on the sticker paper and it looks so much better. I am so happy with how it looks now. Take a peek...

Thanks for stopping by today! I will once again be back soon!! I have some wonderful news to share with all of you!!

Do It dashboard for the Happy Planner

Hey guys!

I know I have been away for a bit, my whole family was super sick and then I decided to join them. I have been out of bed for 2 days only and am starting to feel like a person. The first thing I did when I got up was sit at the craft table. I have had plenty of time to think of things I want to make. Anywho... Let's get down to my project!!!

I got out all my items that I wanted and literally sat for about 15 minutes thinking how I was going to make my Dashboard. I knew I wanted to make one but I didn't want it to be like everyone else's. I took things that I need/want to do everyday and added them to my list.

I chose the fonts I wanted to use and that I wanted a coffee theme and starting making light pencil marks on my watercolor paper. I made marks from the top and where I wanted my header to go and then made lines where I wanted my boxes and tasks to go. From there I started stamping my little hearts desire and I bring you to my Dashboard before the color...

I love how it turned out!! Since I did it on Watercolor paper I knew I wanted too use my watercolor palette. I have only ever used once before. I grabbed a cup of water and my water brush and got to work.

This is my finished project and I am in love with it!! I am going to go have it laminated and then I will be able to use it week after week. I will be punching it to fit into my happy planner.

All of the stamps that I used for this project can be found at www.sweetstampshop.com

This is a list of the sets used:
Just Icons

Sunflower Birthday Card

Hey everyone!!
We are getting over some nasty colds and bronchitis in our house, so back to crafting :) YAY!!

My mother in law always tells me all these kind of cards she would like and I make them for her. She is obsessed with flowers. We were looking around the Internet when she came to help and found a few she liked. I will be sharing one today and the others in coming days.

I have decided that I need to make many more things with the stamps I already have :). So here is the first card that I made her using Lawn Fawn's Friendship Grows.

I just love the colors and the way it came out. I used my Spectrum Noir markers to color it and found some brown twine to add to the bottom. I'll be back to show you the rest!

Have a great weekend!
