Easter Layout

Hello All!! Today is my weekly nothing but scrapbook day and it starts pretty soon. I am waiting for my Bestie to get here to get the day rollin'. Last week when I way layed up for a while I thought I could design something on Esmerelda and get it cut out. So I cut it out and put it together while I was on the couch. LOL! As I look at this Layout more and more I have decided that it really needs something more. I think I am going to figure it out and then re-post the picture.

Love You A Latte

Hello All,
I made this card the other day while my grandma was here. We actually both made one. I just found that paper at Craft Warehouse and has to use it. I just found out that our Craft Warehouse is closing and today starts the close out. I am so beyond bummed out about this since it is my Go-To store. I went there after work to look and I left right after I walked in. The line was all the way around the store and I couldn't even move to look around. Guess I know where I'll be going tomorrow =)

4 1/8 x 5 3/8 cup paper

Happy Birthday Girl

I just made this card for my cousin's birthday the other day. I have been on a roll making cards since last Thursday when I got some friend time (All we do is craft). And now Hubby left again for work to the beach and I am stuck home alone for the week again. I am a little bummed! I do have to say that last week I was an emotional wreck, and I had no idea why. That was the first time since we have lived together that we were apart. He came home this weekend and we got to go to our first Hockey game last night. It was different but really fun! I do not feel like I am in a crafty mood again. I happen to think this happens more on days that I work since I am tired when I get home.

I have also felt really bad cuz I have a puppy here at home that has to stay in the kennel while I am at work and I have been having to stay late at work and then by the time I get home she has been in there for 10-11 hours and it's only 4 hours until I have to go to bed and it all starts over in the morning. I really wish it would stop raining so that I could take my puppy to the dog park. She is really mellow lately but I think it's because she is depressed and her daddy is gone. =( It makes me feel so bad!! She clings to me like static lately.

Ok, enough rambling. Here is the card I made:

Recipe:
9 x 8 Kraft Cardstock folded in half to make a 9 x 4 card
8 3/4 x 3 3/4 Green Mat
2 x 3 3/4 Pink Strip
Girl is cut @ 6" with the Shadow using A Child's Year
Stampin Up Whisper White Satin Ribbon
White Sakura Jelly Roll Pen

Thanks for stopping by!!!

P.S. I am going to be crafting with my Bestie on Thursday and then Friday we get to go to the Scrapbook Convention that is in town! So EXCITED!!!!! Can't wait! Friday I will be doing a post on all the goodies I got =)

Paper Cutz Challenge #59

For challenge # 59, make a card, LO or craft project for Halloween using any colors you'd like, EXCEPT, NO black or orange.

This was the Challenge over at Paper Cutz this week. I had a hard time choosing my colors for this one. I had a paper in mind but it was both Orange and Black, so I had to choose something else. I decided to do Green and Purple. It came out well I think. It almost looks like it's missing something but I cant figure out what.

The Cut is from A Child's Year, and the Stamp is from the dollar bins at Michaels. I find I use this stamp a lot.

Jitterbuggin Challenge #18

Jitterbuggins Challenge this week was to follow the Sketch and to Focus on Apples and adding in the colors Green/Red/Yellow and add Black somewhere in there. There must be a cut from Cricut.

This is my take on the Sketch using all the colors specified. I used A Child's Year Cartridge (It's brand new) for this Card and I am really happy with the way it turned out. I made the title from SCAL.
